Finally had a chance to take a boat back to Muang Kham yesterday
The new village chief's house...
Nothing beats the voices of the kids running past and shouting:" aai vasan klap maa leaw (wasan's back!)" It's been 5 months since the first time i went there, but the villagers still remember me. Some say i've grown thinner, some say my host's wife cried the day she knew i was back in Luang Prabang to work and thought i wasn't going back to visit them even though i was just a river away.
That familiar temple....
Farmers hard at work....
That familiar shed.... apparently they need manpower to help them cover up the area so that when government officials arrive, they are able to host them in a proper meeting area. Any takers? Cement has been sponsored by Indochina Services, but the project has been stalled for weeks due to financial problems.
The completed cement court :)
Staircase.... :)

Tik followed me everywhere i went, but i only remembered to snap a photo of him just before i boarded the boat to go back.
